Pullenia gunnii

Pullenia gunnii is a small herbaceous legume in the Fabaceae, until recently treated under the genus Glycine as Glycine clandestina sensu lato or related segregate names and transferred to the new genus Pullenia on the basis of molecular phylogenetic studies of the Glycininae. It is a slender twining or trailing perennial herb with pinnately trifoliate leaves bearing narrow oblong to linear leaflets and inconspicuous small pale-purple to pink papilionaceous flowers borne singly or in few-flowered axillary racemes. The fruit is a small narrow legume. The species is endemic to temperate eastern and southern Australia, where it occurs in dry sclerophyll forest, woodland and grassland habitats. It is poorly known in horticulture and lacks documented economic or ethnobotanical use.
