Homeopathy
About
Homeopathy is a system of medicine developed in the late 18th century by German physician Samuel Hahnemann. It is based on the principle that 'like cures like' — a substance that causes symptoms in a healthy person can, in highly diluted form, treat similar symptoms in a sick person.
Homeopathic remedies are derived from plants, minerals, and animals, and are prepared through serial dilution and succussion (vigorous shaking). Practitioners select remedies based on a patient's total symptom picture.
Benefits
Homeopathy is used to treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions including allergies, respiratory infections, skin conditions, digestive complaints, hormonal imbalances, and emotional disturbances. It is gentle, non-toxic, and suitable for all ages including infants, children, pregnant women, and the elderly.
