About

Sound therapy (sound healing) uses vibrational frequencies from instruments such as singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, drums, and the human voice to promote healing, relaxation, and wellbeing. It is based on the principle that the body exists in a state of vibration and that therapeutic sounds can restore harmony at cellular and energetic levels.

Sound therapy has deep roots in indigenous healing traditions worldwide and is increasingly used in integrative health settings.

Benefits

Sound therapy induces deep states of relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety, improves sleep quality, alleviates chronic pain, supports emotional processing and trauma release, enhances meditative states and spiritual wellbeing, lowers blood pressure, and supports recovery from illness. Tibetan singing bowls and music therapy are among the most researched modalities.
