Description

Ba Zhen Tang (Eight Treasure Decoction) combines Si Jun Zi Tang with Si Wu Tang to simultaneously tonify Qi and Blood. It is the primary formula for dual Qi and Blood deficiency, widely used after illness, surgery, significant blood loss, or childbirth. The balanced composition nourishes without stagnating and moves without depleting.

Preparation

Decoct in water with a few slices of Sheng Jiang. Simmer 30 minutes, take warm in 2 doses.

Dosage

Decoction: 1 dose/day. Pills: 6–9g twice daily. Often taken long-term.
